Accents in Ink

I'm working on a series of paintings, at least four but maybe six, of some of my characters. I haven't decided on the size yet, but they'll be pretty big. Here's my current work on the composition of the first one, featuring Aserlath Seraff - it's in black and white, but the paintings themselves will be in color. The background will be a coat of arms, which I'm in the process of designing.

Well, www.irisfaerie.com is finally completely up, which is nice, commission prices and everything [hint hint]. I've finished the WIP in the last entry, but haven't gotten it on the computer yet. While I'm doing that, I'm planning my next project. I definitely either want to do a large[ish] painting, or a print, but I haven't decided which. Either way I'm going to have to figure it out before Monday, when I go into the studio to actually work on it.

Well, I used a Blogspot for an art blog a while back, but then I started using Livejournal for personal blogging and the two kinda merged. But with the currently semi launch of my website, I thought I'd separate the two again. If you like you can check what little I had over there at the art tag over there.

At the moment I've been working on a webcomic that was originally going to be launched next week, but a few things came up and I'm not sure whether I'm going to build the website myself or use something like Keenspace or Wordpress since I remember coding webcomic websites was an absolute pain [if anyone has a particular recommendation, please give it in the comments!]. But as I've been working on the comic itself and figuring that out, I've also been doing some separate art pieces with characters that will be appearing, and this is my current WIP:
